Just jumping in here with an update, since this thread is a bit old, things have improved a lot on this front.
Our ClickFunnels plugins have been deprecated, so we’re no longer maintaining them. If you’d like to move your ClickFunnels funnel into Funnelish, simply contact our support team and we’ll take it from there.
In Funnelish, you no longer need custom code for this use case 
We’ve rolled out much more flexibility in the editor, including better handling of phone inputs and country-related fields directly inside Funnelish.
You can now easily manage how phone numbers are collected and formatted without having to load external country code lists or build custom scripts.
We’ve also put together an up-to-date guide that walks through how to set this up properly:
