April 2026 Updates: Feature Deprecation Notice
As part of our commitment to keeping Funnelish lean and ensuring the highest conversion rates for our users, we have officially deprecated the Smart Address plugin.
While we initially launched this feature to streamline the checkout process, our data and user feedback have led us to retire it for the following reasons:
Accuracy Issues: We found that the plugin frequently provided incomplete, invalid, or incorrect data suggestions. In an e-commerce environment, accurate shipping data is critical to avoiding failed deliveries and customer support headaches.
Browser Native Autocomplete: Modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) now have highly sophisticated, built-in address autocomplete features. These native tools are powered by the user’s own saved data, making them significantly more accurate and faster than a third-party plugin.
Performance Optimization: By removing deprecated plugins, we reduce unnecessary script loading, ensuring your funnels remain lightning-fast.
Address Accuracy & Validation
Since the Smart Address plugin is no longer active, you might be wondering how to ensure your customers provide valid shipping information.
If you want to prevent incomplete data from reaching your orders, we recommend using the native Mandatory Fields setting within the Funnelish Editor.
How to enforce address completion:
Open your funnel in the Funnelish Editor.
Select the Address Field (or the specific input field you wish to validate).
In the settings sidebar, toggle the Required (or Mandatory) option to ON.
Save your changes.
Why this is better: By making the field mandatory, the system will block the customer from proceeding to the next step or completing the purchase until the field is filled. This ensures that even without an “auto-complete” helper, the human-verified data is captured before the order is processed.
For the last couple weeks at Funnelish we were focused on improving our apps stability and mainly fixing any bugs that get/got reported… alongside making some major structural changes to our platform on top of which 3 new apps will be built around…
So here is what has been done…

Now Smart Address app does not track users current location or blocks browser asking for consent first, “no more blocking notifications for your customers”…

Smart Address now has a country restriction, which allows you to restrict proposed addresses to a specific country if needed…
That setting can be found under “Your Funnel” > Settings > Apps > “Smart Address”.

Apps were not able to load because of a code customization that’s done by some Clickfunnels users, now no matter what kind of customization you have in your funnel Funnelish apps will certainly load every time…

Facebook Pixel App: General improvements now it’s more accurate, feel free to provide us your more feedback

PayPal Plugin and PayPal App v2 made more stable thanks to our users’ continuous feedback…

Bluesnap and NMI gateways are now officially tested and supported by our PayPal Apps…

General UI improvements of our platform, which is part of our continuous efforts to make the platform more approachable and much easier to use…
