a lot of valid points, especially around using Stripe + PayPal as a base setup.
That said, things have evolved quite a bit since this was posted.
The biggest shift is this:
It’s no longer just about which payment processor you use;
It’s about how your entire payment setup is structured
For example:

Relying on a single gateway (even Stripe) can limit you

Different gateways perform better depending on location, volume, etc

More advanced setups now use multiple gateways + routing logic (fallbacks, volume split, etc.)
