Good to see you been using Funnelish more than 3 years . New design always take little time to get used to.
We will also take a look at that button idea to switch back.
Please keep giving feedback like this. It help us make Funnelish more easy for you and others.
If you absolutely prefer, you can still access the Legacy Editor here: https://app-legacy.funnelish.com/. Please note this is not recommended long-term and is provided only at your own risk, since it no longer receives updates or fixes.
If you continue using the normal (live) version, please do a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows / ⌘ + Shift + R on Mac) first; that often clears up issues caused by cached files. And if you face any further problems, please share all the details (funnel/page URL, exact steps to reproduce, screenshots) so our team can investigate quickly.
We know change is never easy, and while the new editor has introduced some adjustments, it also comes with more powerful features and improvements. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us, we’ll keep working to make it smoother.
Thank you very much for your help. Yes, I truly believe that having a “go back to previous version” button would help Funnelish retain more subscription customers. Some users will enjoy the new updates, while others may prefer the previous version. The key is to support both types of customers by offering two “product versions.” Otherwise, when an update is released, users who preferred the older version might not like the changes and decide to cancel their subscription.
Ideally, the previous version could also be adapted to include new features, which would be a big positive for Funnelish.
Another piece of feedback: adding a dark/night mode would be very helpful, especially for those who work late at night and want to avoid bright light on their screens. Even better would be allowing customers to personalize colors to create their own experience. This kind of “customizable experience” would greatly increase user satisfaction and retention.
I’ve many funnels on my previous editor and in new editor mode it’s possible to use this old pages and the old design will auto convert to new features or there will be issue?
Hi @jhseam good question.
Yes, you can still use old pages in new editor.
Most things will work fine.
Some components like button or forms may need small adjustment.
So better to test after convert.
Thanks for providing the legacy access - I really feel you nailed the original UI design, how it feels now - the lack of contrast between panels and tables (like the slightest variance in grey) makes it really annoying to work in.
ANYWAY
v2 has broken a bunch of custom work we had done to our funnel so its useless to us. And the legacy link you provided is great to have, but even reverting to a revision of a page that was not made in the v2 editor, doesnt allow me to edit it in the legacy editor now. So I have no way of updating my page, and as soon as I hit save after opening it in the v2 editor, so much stuff breaks (like our checkout button isnt even clickable) - and this is also what seems to have permanently disabled my ability to edit in the legacy editor.
Most of that is probably on me to investigate what javascript I have thats conflicting with your new stuff - but it leaves me in a tight spot, especially when we are spending thousands on ads to our funnels and now we can’t work on them.
I know first time it is really hard to adapt new changes.
Specially when you have custom code running.
We will keep improving v2 so it works more smooth.
Please keep sharing details like you did, it help us a lot.
