I have added the head & body of the GMT code to a funelish funnel.
Problem: It’s may not track all the value if the customer make another purchase at upsell or downsell??? Tks for helping.
Hey @Dino_ggads, welcome to the community!
Quick question to better assist you — where exactly did you add the Google Tag Manager (GTM) code in your Funnelish funnel? Was it in the global settings, per funnel settings, or directly into individual pages (like the checkout or upsell page)?
You’re right to be cautious — tracking additional purchases on upsell/downsells often needs extra steps. Once I know where the code was placed, I can help suggest the best way to ensure all purchase events are captured properly.
Looking forward to your reply!
In my case, actually I want to tracking all the rev from the funnel.
Right now, i just add the head & body tag in the funnel settings, but this might not track the sale come from upsell/ downsell.
Tks for helping.
Got it, thanks for clarifying @Dino_ggads ![]()
When GTM is added only in the funnel settings (head & body), it should load on all funnel steps — including upsell/downsells — but tracking all revenue often requires passing the correct order data from each step into your tags.
To help you set this up correctly, could you share:
- A preview/live link to your funnel (including upsell/downsell steps)
- Which Google Ads conversion tags or triggers you’re using in GTM
- If you’re trying to track each upsell purchase separately, or aggregate total funnel revenue into one event
Once we see your funnel setup, we can check if the GTM container is loading on every step and guide you on how to push revenue values into your tags dynamically.
If it’s sensitive, you can send the details directly to [email protected] so we can inspect it more closely.
