2026 Updates: Deprecated CF Plugin & Native 1-Click Upsells
Changes & Current Status:
In this 2018 thread, the user experienced an error where their OTO (Upsell) page attempted to charge a credit card instead of the customer’s PayPal account. This happened because they were using the legacy Funnelish ClickFunnels plugin, and the OTO URL wasn’t perfectly mapped inside the Funnelish settings to allow the script to intercept the button click.
This legacy plugin workflow and these ClickFunnels errors are completely deprecated. Today, Funnelish has evolved into a standalone Funnel Builder and eCommerce platform. You no longer need to rely on ClickFunnels or manually map exact URLs to make 1-click upsells work.
Up-to-Date Information for Native PayPal Upsells: Because you now build your funnels directly within Funnelish, 1-click upsells with PayPal are handled natively and automatically.
1. Create Your Upsell Step: In your Funnelish dashboard, simply add a new step and set its type to Upsell or Downsell. Make sure your step is placed immediately after your main Order Form in the funnel sequence.
2. Add Your Product: Click the Products tab on your new Upsell step and create the offer you want to sell.
3. Configure the Button (No URL Matching Needed):
Open your Upsell page in the visual editor.
Click on the button you want to use for the purchase (e.g., “Yes, Add this to my order!”).
In the left settings panel, set the Button Action to Yes Link (Buy product).
That’s it! Because Funnelish Pay natively tokenizes the PayPal transaction securely on the backend, when the customer clicks this button, their PayPal account is automatically charged. There are no manual URLs to paste, and no ClickFunnels billing errors to troubleshoot.

Hi! , I was curious if you would know what might be causing this.
I just set up PayPalV2 on my funnel. It works perfectly when I get to my order form, however, when I click on the Yes-Link on my first OTO page this comes up?
I believe it’s trying to charge my credit card which of course doesn’t work because I used PayPal to complete the Order Form instead of a CC.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this?
Thanks,
Parker
