PayPal transactions not showing customer shipping address.. how to fix?

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

I’m using Funnelish as my main checkout, connected to Shopify just to sync orders.
Everything works great, except for one detail:

When customers pay with PayPal, their shipping address doesn’t appear inside the PayPal transaction.

The checkout form in Funnelish already collects the full address (name, street, ZIP, city, country), but PayPal only shows the name and email.

Does anyone know how to make Funnelish send the shipping address to PayPal during the order creation?

Hi @ynguido ! We’re aware that if there are certain details missing (like for example not having the dynamic state field) or using billing AND shipping simultaneously, it can lead to this issue.

Can you please proceed with these steps?

  1. Create a test funnel
  • Clone one of your existing funnels (just for testing).
  1. Set up a simple test product
  • Set the product price to $1 so you can easily test the checkout.
  • Choose PayPal as the payment gateway.

  1. Add Paypal as the gateway

  2. Edit the checkout and check your checkout form setup

  • Add or confirm there’s a dynamic State/Province field in the form.
  • Make sure the Country field is properly set:
    • Use the correct country code if you sell to a specific country, or
    • Select All Countries if you sell worldwide.
  1. Update the shipping fields
  • If there’s a “Billing same as shipping” option, remove it.
  • Keep only the shipping fields visible for the test.
  • Do a test order
  • Go through the checkout using your $1 test product.
  • The shipping details should now sync correctly.
