Changes & Current Status:

  • In this 2018 thread, a user experienced a glitch where the legacy Funnelish “PayPal V2” plugin failed to route customers to the ClickFunnels OTO (Upsell) page after their initial purchase. This was usually caused by API or configuration errors between the two platforms.

  • This legacy plugin workflow and ClickFunnels integration are completely deprecated. Today, Funnelish has evolved into a standalone Funnel Builder and eCommerce platform. You no longer need to use external scripts on ClickFunnels to route buyers or process PayPal.

Up-to-Date Information for Post-Purchase Routing & Upsells: Because you now build your funnels directly within Funnelish, post-purchase routing and 1-click upsells are handled natively and seamlessly.

1. Visual Funnel Steps: In your Funnelish dashboard, simply drag and drop your pages into the correct sequence (e.g., Order Form → Upsell → Thank You). When a customer buys via PayPal (or any other native gateway), Funnelish natively understands the flow and automatically routes them to the next logical step in the sequence without relying on external redirects.

2. Native 1-Click Upsells: To get your OTO (Upsell) to work flawlessly with PayPal:

  • Open your Upsell step in the visual editor.

  • Click the button you want to use for the purchase (e.g., “Yes, add this to my order”).

  • In the left settings panel, set the Button Action to Yes Link (Buy product).

  • Funnelish Pay natively tokenizes the PayPal transaction. When the customer clicks the button, their account is instantly charged and they are sent directly to the next step—no extra configuration required.

Hi Felix,

I just checked your page, and I see there is some sort of Payment gateway issue, did you create your gateway correctly as explained in this article: https://community2.funnelish.com/t/how-to-create-paypal-gateway-for-paypal-app-v2/902.

Can you please check that you selected a gateway, and the one you selected is correctly setup?
