UPDATE: Saved assets, compositions and the latest updates

We have rolled out an update allowing you to save your page elements as assets and share them across your entire account.

The update also comes with our own recommended compositions that are built by our design team to make it easier for you to build a page from scratch.

Copying elements (assets) across funnels

Once you are inside the page editor, and click on any element, row or section, you can then save it as an asset and use it again in that page, or a different page.

You can then give your saved asset a name, and add it to an asset group:

You will now find your assets every time you open the editor, and can use them in other pages across the funnels easily.

Compositions

We have created a set of trending compositions, to make it easier for you to build your pages from scratch. You can find cool compositions for reviews, sticky buttons, product selections, timers, badges etc.

If you have any other compositions requests we’d be happy to hear them!

URL shortener for SMS

You can now dynamically update any step URL into your SMS’s; Using a standard URL “www.step.com” isn’t accepted by multiple providers, so we do recommend using our URL shortener to avoid that.

Other fixes and updates

  • Funnel automations SMS creation fixed.
  • Email template editor improved, and major bugs were fixed.
  • Many UI fixes

Hi ana I tried to save my sections/containers as templates but I can’t seem to do it.

It keeps loading endlessly and I can’t save anything, can you help me?

Thanks!

We found a bug on the save assets functionality, when the block you are trying to save contains some external links due to cross-origin issues it will fail to save, this occurs for sections/rows that contain video elements particularly.

Workaround:

  • For the time being, just hide the video element on desktop then try to save the block again.
