URGENT PAYMENT ISSUE — 60% OF CUSTOMERS FAILING CHECKOUT

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Over the last 48 hours, about 60% of all customers trying to check out through my Funnelish checkout are getting instantly blocked by Stripe, even when they enter all their info correctly.

Stripe is showing the exact same pattern on almost every blocked payment:

• CVC check: Unavailable

• Street check: Unavailable

• ZIP check: Unavailable

• Address verification: Unavailable

• Risk level: “Highest” (auto-block)

Customers aren’t failing because of card issues — Stripe is blocking them because the verification data isn’t being passed through Funnelish at all.

:fire: Even stranger:

Some customers successfully complete the initial checkout (all checks pass), but then get instantly declined on the 1-click upsell. They don’t re-enter any card info, but suddenly all verification fields switch to “Unavailable.”

This looks like a metadata or tokenization issue coming from Funnelish.

:skull: Impact so far:

• 60%+ of front-end checkouts blocked

• Upsells failing almost every time

• 88+ blocked payments in under 48 hours

• Conversion crushed

• Stripe put a reserve on my account

• I had to pause all ads

:red_question_mark: Is anyone else seeing any of this?

• AVS/CVC showing as “Unavailable”

• Sudden spike in “Highest Risk” blocks

• Missing billing details in Stripe

• Upsell tokenization failures

• Mass declines on initial checkout

I have already contacted Funnelish support through the help desk and email, but haven’t heard back yet.

Trying to see if this is a wider issue or something specific to my workspace/template. Any info helps a lot — thank you!

I would like you to troubleshoot the funnel:

  • check all integrations
  • check all buttons are properly linked
  • check products are linked correctly
  • check automation are setup right way

Yes everything is set up correctly in face I went though and remade everything, tested again, payments still get blocked. Funnelish support has been unhelpful.
This issue started on Nov 12 around 7:00 AM, before that I had processed thousands of payments without this issue then all of the sudden this happens. I am going on almost a week of shutting down my funnelish it hasnt been resolved.

@Jake_Hill we do not have users facing the same issue. could test with a different STRIPE account please?

I do not have another stripe account, I could test with an airwallex account.

The problem is that is seems like stripe is not recieving the CVC, street, and zip information and therefore showing them as unavailable and blocking them due to high risk. If they are not recieving the info, wouldn’t this be an issue with funnelish not stripe?

I am suddenly getting a similar issue it will not let users click the complete order button on one of my main funnels. This issue has came out of nowhere and things worked fine a week ago. I have not made any changes
