Why Are Funnelish Service Orders So Slow These Days? Is Anyone Else Experiencing This?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to ask other Funnelish freelancers and service providers if you have noticed a slowdown in client orders recently.

For the past few weeks/months, I have been getting significantly fewer inquiries and orders for Funnelish services than before. I’m trying to understand whether this is just a seasonal slowdown or if there is something bigger happening in the Funnelish ecosystem.

A few things came to my mind:

  • Is it because of summer vacations in the US and Europe?
  • Is the heatwave and summer season affecting businesses and their spending?
  • Are clients using AI tools more and trying to build funnels themselves?
  • Are people moving from Funnelish to other platforms such as ClickFunnels, Shopify, or other funnel/checkout platforms?
  • Or is the overall demand for funnel-building services simply lower right now?

I would really appreciate hearing from other Funnelish users, freelancers, and agencies. Are you also experiencing fewer leads/orders recently, or is it just me? And August is more dry than July. No idea when this get better?

If you have noticed a change, when did you start seeing it, and what do you think is the main reason?

Thanks

I think it comes down to two things: one temporary, one structural.

1. Low season. July/August is the slowest time of year in ecom. Less merchant revenue = less spend on funnels and services. Picks back up from September as everyone preps for Q4.

2. De minimis is gone. The US killed the $800 duty-free exemption in August 2025. Dropshipping from China into the US is basically dead, and that segment has been shrinking ever since. If most of your clients were dropshippers, that’s your real problem, and Q4 won’t fix it.

My advice: don’t just wait out the season. Shift your client base to segments that still work: DTC and supplement brands, merchants with US suppliers or 3PLs, and merchants selling into Europe and other regions. Better budgets, longer client lifetimes.
