There’s a massive wave in the wellness and dropshipping space right now around “sleepmaxxing.” People are obsessed with optimizing their sleep, and mouth tape has become one of the most viral, high-demand products on TikTok and Instagram.
But there is a catch. While the margins on mouth tape are incredible (it costs pennies to source and sells for $20-$30+), most dropshippers fail to scale it. Why? Because they send cold traffic to a standard Shopify page that just says, “Here is some tape, buy it.”
Cold traffic in the biohacking/sleep space is highly skeptical. They arrive pre-loaded with three specific objections: “Is this going to hurt to peel off?”, “Why wouldn’t I just use nose strips?”, and “Is it actually safe?” A generic e-commerce page cannot address those objections before the visitor bounces.

How This Template Solves the Low-Ticket Consumable Problem
1. Killing the “Safety & Comfort” Objections Immediately
The biggest hurdle with mouth tape is the physical anxiety of sticking something over your lips. We tackle this the second they scroll down the landing page.
Instead of a boring paragraph, we built a highly visual “Product Overview” section. We explicitly highlight “Skin-Friendly Adhesive” (Gentle on the lips) and “Breathable Design” (Allows natural airflow).
Then, we handle the “comparison anxiety” with a direct Us vs. Them comparison table embedded right on the page. We pit the mouth tape directly against CPAP machines and bulky chin straps, highlighting that our tape is minimal, comfortable, and non-invasive. The buyer doesn’t need to leave to Google alternatives; the comparison is already made for them, and the tape clearly wins.
2. The Built-In Bundle Strategy (Solving the Low AOV Problem)
Running paid ads to a single $15 box of mouth tape is a quick way to go bankrupt. To make the math work, you need the customer to buy a 3-month or 6-month supply.
Instead of hiding quantity breaks in a clunky dropdown menu, this template bakes a highly visible Quantity Selector (1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months) directly into the top of the checkout page (and the landing page buy box).
By visually highlighting the middle or highest tier with a “Save 40%” badge, we frame the single pack as the “expensive” option. We aren’t just selling a product; we are selling a routine. If they want the routine to work, they need more than one box.
3. The “Stockpile vs. Starter” Upsell Loop
Because mouth tape is a daily consumable, your backend LTV (Lifetime Value) is where the real money is made. But we want to capture as much of that cash upfront as possible.
Right after the card clears, the buyer hits an Upsell Page offering the Purenite Extra Night Pack. The psychology here is simple: “You already bought into the habit, why not stock up now while it’s heavily discounted?” It is the ultimate low-friction add-on at the highest-temperature moment of the transaction.
If they decline the upsell, they don’t just go to the Thank You page. They are routed to a Downsell Page offering a Starter Pack. We change the angle completely: “Not ready for a larger pack? Let’s make it easier to start your routine.” We catch the “No” with a much smaller, highly palatable “Yes.”
4. The Loop-Closing Thank You Page
Most Thank You pages are dead ends. This template turns it into a retention tool. Below the order confirmation, we placed an embedded video to build hype, followed immediately by an “Expires in 24 Hours - 10% Off Your Next Order” banner.
Since this is a product they will run out of in 30 days, planting the seed for their next purchase the exact moment they finish their first one dramatically increases your repeat customer rate.
