Everything about taking payments in Funnelish — enabling Funnelish Pay, connecting a payment gateway, and adding payment methods to your checkout.
Every payment in a Funnelish funnel runs through Funnelish Pay. It sits between your checkout and your payment processors: you connect the gateways you already hold accounts with, and Funnelish Pay presents them at checkout, routes each transaction and records the order. It adds no fees of its own — you pay only your processor’s standard rates.
Two terms are worth separating before you start, because they decide which article you need:
A gateway is your merchant account — Stripe, NMI, Airwallex, PayPal. It belongs to your Funnelish account, and you connect it once. A payment method is what your customer sees at checkout — cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna, iDEAL. Which methods appear is set per funnel.
One gateway usually unlocks several methods. Connecting Stripe, for example, covers cards, Klarna, iDEAL, Bancontact, SEPA Direct Debit, P24 and EPS.
Which method needs which gateway
A method only appears at checkout when a connected gateway supports it, your funnel’s currency matches, and your customer’s country is covered. Several are EUR-only.
| Payment method | Available through | Region / currency notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cards | Stripe, NMI, Checkout.com, Airwallex |
Worldwide, subject to your processor’s coverage |
| PayPal | PayPal | Worldwide |
| Express Checkout (Apple Pay & Google Pay) | Stripe | Custom domain recommended; Apple registration is automatic. Airwallex support is on the way |
| Klarna — Buy Now, Pay Later | Klarna merchant account, Stripe, Airwallex | Klarna’s supported markets |
| iDEAL | Stripe, Airwallex | Netherlands. Airwallex processes EUR only |
| Bancontact | Stripe, Airwallex | Belgium. Airwallex processes EUR only |
| SEPA Direct Debit | Stripe | SEPA countries, EUR |
| P24 | Stripe | Poland |
| EPS | Stripe | Austria |
| RazorPay | RazorPay | India |
| Cash on Delivery | No gateway required | Any market where you fulfil COD |
| ~~SOFORT~~ | — | Discontinued. Stripe retired SOFORT as a standalone method on 31 March 2025 and folded it into Klarna. Use Klarna or SEPA Direct Debit instead |
PayPal’s own express checkout is coming too, through the new PayPal integration.

About this category
These are the official payment docs, kept current by the Funnelish team. Comments are open on every article — if something doesn’t match what you’re seeing, or a step is missing, say so on the article itself and we’ll fix it.
Stuck on your own setup rather than the documentation? Start a topic in Ask the community instead. Payment processing has more moving parts than anything else in a funnel, and it’s the one area where a mistake costs orders rather than just looking wrong — someone will help.
